Holiday season is coming

It’s been another long year for little ones, youngsters and not so young ones, and it will be a sigh of relief for some that the holidays are looming. Whether you are scheduling a staycation or going away, holiday time is a period when you can reset yourself.

Why are holidays important?

Life has never been so busy and so full of anxiety than in the last few years. Your body and your mind need a rest from all the stress life sends at you.

Stepping back from the responsibilities, obligations, and problems you may have at home or work, can reduce anxiety, which in turn may drastically lower your stress levels.

Reducing the stress levels of everyday life may have a positive effect on your blood pressure, which in turn reduces the risks of heart disease and diabetes.

During the holiday, we are usually more physically active, which has a direct impact on the quality of our sleep, as we have seen in one of our previous blogs.

Holiday means for many an escapism. The planning, going away or just stopping the day-to-day routine is exciting. Excitement is a powerful emotion that makes you feel alive and unstoppable. Just the idea of a break can be re-energising and boost your mental health.

As you relax, why don’t you sit back and enjoy one of our five fabulous bitter leaf teas, packed with vitamins and antioxidants, which help rejuvenate the body and soothe your mind?

Whatever you are doing during your holiday, the Respite Tea team wishes you, your body, your mind and soul a wonderful holiday. Enjoy this special time with your family and friends and stay hydrated. This will allow you to reset and engage more enthusiastically with the new working year ahead.

Everyone needs a respite.
